Invoices and Cost Tracking
Breakdowns, settlements, invoices, and receipts — match every dollar to the run that spent it.
Where to look
- Cost breakdown (
/billing/breakdown) — usage per instance over a period. Finds expensive runs. - Settlements (
/billing/settlements) — what wallet was actually charged. - Invoices (
/billing) — list, cancel eligible pending, downloadreceipt.pdfafter paid. - Wallet transactions — raw ledger. Immutable; reversals appear as separate entries, never edits.
Quote before launch
Dashboard shows hourly rate pre-create. For API-era parity: rental quote validates tier + plan and returns price. If breakdown surprises you, note period + instance ID and ask Support.
Receipts
Receipt available only after invoice paid. Pending invoice requesting receipt returns 409. Cancel only while pending — paid invoices need support reversal flow.
Retention on failed payment
Payment failure does not instant-delete. Rental enters retention window, then terminates. Top up inside window to resume. See Wallet and Top-ups.
