Images and Access
Pick the right image, verify the GPU, and never leak a key.
Available images
- ubuntu-cpu — Ubuntu 26.04 for CPU-only work.
- ubuntu-gpu — Ubuntu 26.04 with CUDA 12.8 drivers pre-installed.
- ubuntu-torch — Ubuntu 26.04 with PyTorch 2.8 and CUDA 12.8 preloaded, for GPU-ready PyTorch workloads.
Pick a GPU image for GPU work, then verify it after launch with nvidia-smi — a quick confirmation that the card is visible and ready. You can also run nvtop to watch GPU usage live.
Access rules
Set a username and password, add SSH public keys, or use both. Keys are injected through cloud-init, so:
- Add public keys only. Keep private keys on your own device.
- Log in with the username and address the dashboard shows.
- Never send passwords, private keys, or wallet credentials to support.
Then head back to Connect and Verify for the first real connection check.
